Administration Assistant – Finance Team Location: Carrington, Newcastle Employment Type: Casual full-time hours Monday to Friday.
Our client is seeking a switched-on individual that can assist in managing the NSW Schools Cleaning Contract and we're looking for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to support our clients Finance Team. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The role is offered until the end of the year with possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including managing correspondence, managing core mailbox and answering calls. Assist with validating weekly payroll for wages. Assist with maintaining high volume inbox by sorting into categories. Be the first point of contact in the rostering hotline and answer any phone queries. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Perform general office duties such as filing, answering calls, and managing emails. Follow up on overpayments in accordance with the procedure once initial overpayment letter has been created. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role is preferred but not essential. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
