We invite you to join us as we continue to explore and create better ways to educate, grounded in Christian values for the whole of life.Description:The Administrative Assistant works as part of a team to provide exceptional administrative support to the school.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Actively contribute to a professional and welcoming School Office that reflects the College values and provides a good 'first impression'.Assisting students and parents with a range of enquiries.Answering phone calls in a professional and pleasant manner, resolving enquiries where appropriate and transferring calls as necessary.Greeting visitors upon arrival and ensuring all sign-in protocols are followed.Performing general administration duties such as booking meetings, emailing correspondence, filing, booking transport, and data entry.Maintaining student records as required, including but not limited to updating change of address, noting late arrivals/early finishes, recording incidents, and archiving student files in accordance with procedures.Providing First Aid and administering medications to students in accordance with directions from parents and caregivers.Collating, preparing and maintaining information and data.Preparing documentation, reports and awards as requested.Other tasks that will facilitate efficient day-to-day operations in the College.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSCommitted Christian who is actively involved in their local evangelical Christian church.Exceptional skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Proficiency in using student information systems, or similar databases.Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute to an innovative and forward-thinking workplace.Highly developed skills in attention to detail that results in data quality and accuracy.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.Flexibility in managing the various aspects of the position throughout the day.Exceptional multi-tasking skills resulting in the ability to respond to competing urgent requests.A professional and pleasant manner at all times.Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Current Working with Children CheckWE'LL PARTNER WITH YOU ALONG THE WAYAs a member of the St. Philip's team, we are committed to advancing your God-given purpose and potential by supporting your personal and professional growth, while approaching the changing needs of the future with confidence and ingenuity.Note: All SPCC employees are responsible for ensuring the workplace is free from sexual harassment and must not engage in any behaviour that could amount to sexual harassment.
