Fixed term role until May 2025 based in Nepean Clinical School Dynamic opportunity to organize and maintain Administration & Facilities Base Salary $86,511 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity As an Admin & Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for providing general administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the designated work area.
Your duties will include organizing and maintaining records, coordinating processes, and managing the flow of information.
You will serve as the initial point of contact within the team, utilising your judgment and procedural knowledge to handle inquiries and direct tasks efficiently.
Working under general supervision, you will perform tasks according to established methods and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
You will have the autonomy to resolve routine matters and will assist in addressing more complex issues, ensuring that all administrative processes run effectively and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide general administrative services, including front desk and reception duties, room bookings, and operational support for the work area handle and respond to routine enquiries and correspondence, preparing advice, recommendations, and drafting letters coordinate purchasing and payment activities, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, and support facilities management duties maintain effective communication with stakeholders by addressing basic enquiries and keeping up-to-date records primary contact for facilities and equipment maintenance related enquiries and issues in the work area provide audio-visual and video conference support to staff adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines, report hazards, and fulfill the role of WHS officer or warden when required.
About you Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity with audio/visual tech skills and database technologies like AMS excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships strong organizational and time management abilities, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and problem-solving high level of numeracy, with attention to detail in managing administrative tasks and supporting operational processes independent and autonomous with ability to work in a team, resolving relevant matters that may arise with daily tasks and escalating complex issues to reporting manager or seniors good conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills reasonable audio visual and video conference knowledge.
