Randstad is currently partnered with a local Ballarat Client seeking an Administrator on a temporary assignment for 3-4 months.Your new roleResponsibilitiesYou will work during school hours, providing administrative support to the operations team in a government organisation based in Ballarat.
Responsibilities will include:General administrative tasks: filing, photocopying, word processing, and database management.Manage software systems and handle customer service requests.Liaise with suppliers and manage orders for office supplies and staff amenities.Receive and manage deliveries, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.Process purchase orders and debtor invoices, and support payroll and staff training coordination.Assist with administrative duties for the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, including event bookings.What you'll need to succeedTo Succeed, You Will NeedCertificate in Business Administration or equivalent experience.Excellent word processing skills and accuracy in data entry, along with demonstrated experience with a wide range of Windows based applications, Content Manager and Pathway is desirable.Demonstrated customer service skills and well developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to adapt to new situations, showing initiative in responding to challenging and competing work tasks and demands.Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.Please note, to be considered for this role, you MUST:Full working rights within Australia.Based in Victoria, preferably in or near Ballarat.What you'll get in returnRoleThrough Randstad, this role offers you an hourly rate of $40 - $42.81 per hour + super, an opportunity to progress your career within Government space and:Weekly pay cycles.Nominated choice of superannuation fund.Online timesheet submission and approval.No hidden costs or payroll deductions for our services.No invoicing required for Pty Ltd holders.Regular contact with consultants throughout the duration of your assignment.If you have a "can-do" attitude and thrive in a team environment, we encourage you to apply, or email on .#J-18808-Ljbffr
