Maxima's Recruitment Services is currently seeking a highly motivated individual as an Admin Manager specializing in the medical/healthcare industry for one of our clients in Bundaberg.
Primary Role Purpose: As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of outpatient care, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This position looks after a number of clerical staff and is responsible for attracting medical officers.
Your responsibilities will include: Develop and implement strategies for outpatient services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Manage and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence. Oversee day-to-day activities, including patient scheduling, billing processes, and staff development programs. Maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction by implementing best practices and monitoring performance metrics. Establish facility objectives and ensure compliance with government regulations. Hire new staff and lead professional development initiatives. Create budgets and manage financial outcomes effectively. Resolve complex patient inquiries or concerns promptly. Actively participate in decision-making forums to represent staff and patients. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Office Management or Business Management. A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a general practice or managerial role within healthcare. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in people management. Advanced knowledge of medical services and practice management software.
