Responsibilities
We are seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounting and Administration Assistant for our client based in Brisbane CBD. This position is responsible for providing administrative and accounting support.
Your main responsibilities include: Perform basic bookkeeping duties such as data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and prompt submission. Support the development of cash flow forecasts and budgets. Aid in managing shipping documentation, contract administration, and scheduling coordination. Translate documents and meeting notes between English and Japanese. Provide general administrative assistance, including filing, report preparation, and organizing meetings. Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers in a professional and timely manner. Proactively manage schedules and key deadlines related to shipments, contracts, and invoices. Work closely with various stakeholders. Your Profile In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths: Required Attributes A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach. Fluency in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities. A collaborative team player who is committed to going the extra mile to support the team. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in accounting, business, or a related field. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office software. An interest in accounting, logistics, international trade, or resource industries.
