ACTSS Training Systems Contract Management OfficerThe Aviation C4ISREW Training and Support Systems Management Unit (ACTSS MU), within UHSPO, is responsible for the management, delivery and support of a range of common products and systems across multiple Army Aviation aircraft types. The Products and Services are managed in 3 main areas: Aviation Mission Systems, Armament, Life and Ground Support (ALGS) and Training Systems.We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join our Training System's team as a Contract Management Officer.The APS 6 Contract Management Officer will be accountable/responsible for a variety of in-service and future training systems activities including but not limited to:Management and support of common ground and air training devices.Management of upgrades, replacements, and sustainment of new/extant training devices e.g. Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD).Training Systems.The role is essential to assuring the Capability Manager that systems are being delivered from the projects with due consideration of sustainment, and integration into the broader Army Aviation system.This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
