Established by way of an international treaty between Australia and New Zealand in 1991, JASANZ provides internationally recognised accreditation services that give confidence to markets domestically and internationally that goods and services certified by accredited bodies meet established standards.
As an official accreditation body, JASANZ uses standards and technical experts to check and formally recognise that certification and inspection bodies are competent and reliable.
Certification body activities include licensing products, auditing quality or OHS management systems, and issuing certificates of conformity.
Inspection bodies undertake various types of professional inspections and issue inspection reports.
The system of accreditation provides for a consistent, robust, and reliable use of conformity assessment to international standards and norms.
Using internationally recognised frameworks reduces regulatory costs, increases consistency and quality, and facilitates international trade.

About the Role Canberra (Australia) or Wellington (New Zealand) based - preferredTravel requiredFull-time, 38 hours, with some workplace flexibility.Purpose
Support the implementation of values, strategy, and processes through knowledge, practice, process, and documentation for the Health and Human Service (HHS) sector's scheme portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Relate conformity assessment to stakeholder needs.Support regulatory initiatives and engage with regulators.Participate in technical discussions and manage knowledge transfer.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support the HHS Sector Manager.Undertake projects and contribute to continuous improvement.Develop and manage relationships inside and outside the organization.Conduct assessments (approx.
50% of time) and support assessors.Key Interfaces Management, staff, contractors, accredited bodies, regulators, industry, and community users.Performance Indicators Adherence to Client Services charter.Effective servicing of committees and stakeholder groups.Contribution to organizational knowledge base.Quality client and stakeholder relationships.Promotion of accreditation.Experience and Skills Technical knowledge and industry experience in Health and Human Services (Essential).Knowledge of Australian/New Zealand regulatory environments (Essential).Experience in auditing/assessing (desirable).Eligible to work in Australia and New Zealand.What We Offer Competitive salary - $100,000 per annum + SuperLearning and development opportunities$200 Health & Wellbeing subsidyChristmas to New Year's: 3 days leave for 1 Annual Leave dayEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)To Apply
