DescriptionAbout ANMAC: ANMAC is appointed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) to carry out specific tasks on their behalf. in line with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 (the National Law) [S43,1a).
The National Law serves as the legal framework for Australia's National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS). ANMAC's responsibilities include:
Developing accreditation standards for approval by the National Board [s42a).Evaluating programs of study and the educational institutions offering them to ensure they meet the approved accreditation standards [s42b].Providing recommendations and advice to the National Board on the matters mentioned above [s42e].At time of writing, there are 176 ANMAC-accredited programs, delivered by 106 education providers across the Higher Education and VET sectors.
ANMAC is also the approved, independent assessing authority authorised by the Department of Home Affairs to assess the skills of nurses and midwives who are seeking to migrate to Australia under the Australian Government's General Skilled Migration program.

Under the Director of Accreditation Services, you'll oversee the operational aspects of accreditation, fostering continuous improvement and nurturing stakeholder relations. You will take the lead on specific projects to support the enhancement of ANMAC's approaches. Main Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Support the Director of Accreditation Services
You will assist in overseeing accreditation committee meetings and the overall business of accreditation and standards.2. Provide Support and Peer Leadership
You will offer support and peer leadership to Associate Directors, helping with workload management and operational processes for accreditation assessment and compliance monitoring.3. Operational Leadership and Supervision
You will provide operational leadership and supervision to the administration staff within the Accreditation Services team.4. Stakeholder Relationship Management
You will be responsible for maintaining positive and responsive relationships with stakeholders regarding operational matters related to accreditation and standards.5. Support Continuous Improvement and Quality
You will support the Accreditation Services staff in fostering a learning and development environment, ensuring continuous improvement and quality. This involves providing evaluation and feedback to enhance their performance.6. Data Management and Reporting
You will manage and evaluate data, records, and reporting related to the accreditation assessment function.7. Policy and Procedure Development
Your role will involve coordinating and contributing to research, development, and review of policies, procedures, and instruments used in the accreditation assessment of nursing and midwifery programs of study.8. Professional Development
Undertaking continuing professional development aligned with the Manager, Accreditation Services role is essential to this position.9. Coordinate Special Projects
You will coordinate special projects as directed by the Director of Accreditation.Selection Criteria and Experience: Demonstrated experience in peer leadership and staff supervision within a customer service-focused team.Proven oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce quality documentation.Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, striving for mutually beneficial outcomes.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and activities within established timelines and budgets.Requirements Postgraduate qualifications in nursing and/or midwifery or a related field.Current registration with AHPRA as a nurse and/or midwife.Strong alignment to ANMAC Values: Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration, Innovation and RespectExperience in nursing and/or midwifery education and curriculum development.Experience in regulation, accreditation, or compliance.Equal Opportunity Employer: ANMAC is an equal-opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
