About the Role: The Accounts Receivable Operations Manager leads the finance team delivering Accounts Receivable functions across Icon's pharmacy services portfolio. This is a key leadership role in our finance team and requires a strong focus on service delivery through collaboration with the business, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will involve high-level reporting to management, identifying potential adverse risk to the business, creating and implementing mitigation strategies and being a leader in implementation. Our Accounts Receivable Operations Manager reports directly to the CFO, and is a permanent, full-time role at our global headquarters in South Brisbane.

Key Responsibilitiesof the role include:

Controls & Compliance Oversee the Accounts Receivable (Pharmacy) function, ensuring that all compliance obligations are metCollaborate with internal and external auditors to identify and resolve control weaknesses or improvementsService Delivery Act as a key Business Partner across the businessManaging the operational and commercial relationship with all accounts receivable customers and external service providersEnsuring team accountability for operating SLAs, including regular operational reviews with key stakeholdersLeadership Manage and evaluate team performance and facilitate ongoing professional developmentLead and demonstrate a culture of innovation, service excellence, performance and safety, including investigating ways to improve effectiveness by utilising technology and automationCollaborate with stakeholders to enhance the service outcomes, provide advice, contribute to strategy and policy setting, planning, forecasting and projects. What can you bring? Accounting qualifications (advantageous though not essential) with extensive experience in an accounts receivable leadership role within a large dynamic organisationPrior experience implementing or reshaping an accounts receivable function within a large, complex organisationHealthcare industry experience preferred but not essentialExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AXAbility to delegate coupled with excellent communication and influencing skills.Experience with automation of transaction processes such as OCR/RPAExperience managing geographically dispersed and/or regionally based teams.Why choose us?
