An Exciting Permanent Full-Time Accounts Receivable Officer Position Located in the Heart of Adelaide.

Our client is looking for someone with a friendly and personable phone manner, who can take ownership of the accounts receivable functions within the business.
Your new role
In this role, you will manage the accounts receivable function, focusing on debt collection and supporting the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing daily receipts and reconciling bank accounts
Managing debtor accounts, arranging client refunds and addressing client queries
Following up on outstanding debts and negotiating payment plans
Reviewing aged analysis to ensure accurate transaction allocation
Handling credit notes, reversals, adjustments, and transfers
Processing credit card payments and maintaining direct debit arrangements
Coordinating end-of-month processes and maintaining subscription invoices
Organising meetings with partners to discuss debt collection strategies
Supporting the annual Audit Shield Insurance process
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
Strong client focus and effective communication skills
Analytical and decision-making abilities
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Attention to detail and technical expertise
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of accounting systems, particularly Xero and APS (desirable)
Desirable qualifications include a Certificate IV in Credit Management or further accounting studies
A recent and valid police clearance
