This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Officer to join our Finance team in a full-time fixed term capacity, for 12 months.
What you will do You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, and do the following: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including major account holders.
Follow up payment of outstanding invoices and perform account reconciliations.
Issue credit notes and reminder notices, and allocate client payments.
Maintain a significant ledger, and allocate payments received from NDIS.
Facilitate new customer account setup and resolve client payment queries or concerns.
Perform ad hoc administration and accounts receivable tasks as required.
What you need for Success Significant experience in accounts receivables and debt collection, preferably in the disability or a similar sector.
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
High level attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and manage workload.
Strong organisation and time management skills.
Team oriented with a supportive, friendly and helpful approach, and client focussed.
Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in the use of accounting systems software.
Desirable: Completion of studies in Accounting or Business.
