We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk. This is a junior position where you will be trained to be an expert in this field. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be working 100% onsite based in Stapylton, Gold Coast. Your will be trained to perform the below duties:
Process credit card payments and refunds via EFTPOS terminal
Reconciliation of incoming funds and ensure correct allocation of customer payments
Process daily collections and credit claims in POS system
Debtor account reconciliation
Follow up with debtors on payments (via phone and email)
Preparation/processing of monthly debtor statements
Ensure debtors' profile are up to date
Respond to and investigate customer enquiries in a timely manner
Support the Finance Team
Ideally you will have:
Accounting background
Passions in dealing with numbers and people
Thorough attention to detail
The ability to stay on top of things, meet deadlines and respond quickly to changing priorities
Excellent and tactful communication skills
Punctuality and work commitment
Strong desire to learn and adapt to our current and new systems
Intermediate computer and fast typing skills
High integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information
