We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a 6 month contract at our Waurn Ponds site.
Reporting to our Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to ensure the efficient, timely and accurate processing of purchase transactions.
What you'll do Onboarding of new suppliers into the ERP system (Netsuite)Entering invoices/credit notes into automated payables software (Stampli), including reviewing the accuracy of coding provided by the purchase order Obtaining authorisation for paymentChecking & Reconciling credit card statements Entering, reviewing and approving expense reimbursement claims Support with raising and entering Purchase Orders into NetsuiteOpen purchase order maintenanceReconciling supplier statements, including liaison with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or questions raised by suppliersAssisting with month-end closing and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysisProblem-solving to resolve discrepancies/anomalies and address ad-hoc requests as they ariseDriving process improvements around purchasing/AP area across the business, including preparing and updating documentation of those processesWhat you'll bring Certificate in Finance or Office Administration (desirable) Experience with modern ERP & Payables systems (Netsuite and or Stampli are an advantage)Core financial processing/bookkeeping principlesProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) Time management and ability to prioritise competing demandsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to problem solve and apply strong initiative in response to issues and anomaliesAbility to work autonomously, but also work effectively as part of a teamWhat's on offer At Carbon Revolution we believe in fair, market competitive and performance-based pay.
