Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing ASX-200 listed company. The successful candidate will be part of a small finance team, ensuring the accounts payable and payroll functions are administered accurately and timely. What you'll do: Prepare and administer payroll for the organisation's corporate and operations (site) employeesProcess supplier invoices against approved purchase ordersReconcile supplier statements and follow up on unresolved mattersProvide back up for bank accounts management and reconciliationsMaintain customer and supplier database as requiredCommunicate with suppliers in a professional and timely mannerRegularly communicate with the wider operational businessAssist in providing input and support to the development of the finance functionAssist with the implementation of accounts payable automationWhat you bring: Minimum 5 years' experience working in payroll including a roster environmentMinimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable in a similar industryExperience working within the mining industry seen as an advantageExperience working with Pronto accounting system preferredAbility to work within a teamFlexibility with tasks as the role and team developDemonstrated attention to detail with accuracy in all areas of workWhat sets this company apart: This company prides itself on being an inclusive and supportive workplace.
