HOBAN Recruitment is seeking 3 x ASO2 - Accounts Payable Officers (1.0 FTE) on behalf of our client, within the South Australian State Government.
This temporary role is available for an immediate start, until 30 December 2024, with a key focus on delivering high-quality financial services.
About the Role As an Accounts Payable (AP) Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient processing of financial documents within the Document Capture Team.
Reporting to the Operational Team Leader, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including internal teams, state government agencies, suppliers, and members of the public.
Your primary responsibility will be managing incoming invoices and supporting the data extraction process for payment processing.
Key Responsibilities: Process invoices using the data extraction system accurately and efficiently.
Manage and sort physical mail, ensuring prompt handling of documents.
Meet daily targets and actively contribute to team goals.
Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders for seamless operations.
What We Are Looking For: Strong data entry and typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Proven experience handling high volumes of work while meeting strict deadlines.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Mandatory Requirements: Valid National Police Clearance (to be provided at the interview stage).
