We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our finance team in an Accounts Payable Officer position to support a maternity leave for approximately 7 months at our Ingleburn site. Start date: Beginning of October 2024 to support training into role.

Key Accountabilities include:

Matching, batching, and coding a high volume of invoices Preparation and allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills Scanning and filing Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations Contributing accounts payable information to other departments upon request Speaking to suppliers on a daily basis Coordinating the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments, and filing systems

Do you have what it takes?

Minimum one (1) year of workplace experience in accounts payable function in an environment with high volume and a wide variety of financial transactions, including matching of invoices against purchase orders (with consideration for GRNI) Experience in a manufacturing business is highly desirable Intermediate Excel skills and experience with operating accounting systems Experience in the AP month-end and year-end processes Demonstrated ability to work independently, recognize issues, and use initiative to identify and discuss proposed solutions Strong customer focus with the ability to develop relationships within the team and related cross-functional teams
