Accounts Payable Officer

Position: Accounts Payable OfficerType: Contract (Until End of the Year)Location: TownsvilleAbout Us:Join our client's dynamic team as we are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accounts payable officer to support our finance team on a contract basis through the end of the year.Key Responsibilities:Process and manage accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.Ensure compliance with all procedures, systems, and processes.Prioritize and multitask effectively, managing your workload with minimal supervision.Utilize intermediate-level skills in Excel to manage data and documentation.Conduct thorough research, analysis, and problem-solving to resolve discrepancies, including creditor reconciliation.Demonstrate sound knowledge of enterprise-wide applications.Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, to manage customer relationships and internal interactions.Exhibit high accuracy and attention to detail in keyboarding and data entry tasks.Collaborate effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.Qualifications and Experience:Certificate IV in Business or relevant qualifications/experience.Proven experience in an accounts payable role within a medium to large enterprise.Demonstrated experience with the Office suite of applications, particularly Excel and Word, at an intermediate level.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to investigations and resolution.Knowledge of enterprise-wide applications.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in keyboarding and data entry.Capability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently.How to Apply:If you are a motivated professional with a passion for detail-oriented work and meet the above qualifications, we want to hear from you!
