Since 1925, ESSSuper and the funds before it have acted as trustees on behalf of the Victorian State Government, its employer agencies and their employees. We administer the State's statutory defined benefit
superannuation funds and obligations. Additionally, we administer accumulation-style products such as the ESSSuper Accumulation Plan and account-based Income Streams.

About the position
Working within our Finance team, this role will be focused on end to end of the accounts payable function from processing through to reconciliation and payments to vendors.
Key responsibilities will include;
Managing a high-volume data entry of invoices Ensuring accurate, timely and compliant administration and payment of invoices Providing quality customer service to internal stakeholder and vendors Maintaining accurate ledgers and records of vendors correspondence Preparing creditor pay runs weekly Additional tasks such as accounts receivable as directed Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies This is a 3 day per week part time fixed term contract for 6 months. The days of work will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with 2 days working in the office and 1 day working from home.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who has worked within superannuation or more broadly financial services.
