The role this Government Department is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to provide financial administrative services for with a primary focus on creating purchase agreement records in Oracle iCloud, raising purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
Responsibilities create purchase agreement records in Oracle iCloud, raise purchase orders and process invoices for payment. Provide procurement administrative support and guidance for procurement activities. Assist in the delivery of regular monthly management reporting. Maintaini compliance and accuracy of records.
Required a relevant tertiary degree accountancy or business is desirable. Demonstrated experience in providing accurate and timely financial and accounts payable services in a government environment.
Strong administrative and time management skills. Effective verbal communication skills. High level proficiency in in MS Office, financial management systems including ORACLE Cloud, Contract Management System (Zycus).
