Qualifications & experience Experience as an Accounts Payable OfficerMYOB experience Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferableMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office programsStrong data entry skills Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processesFamiliarity with purchase order processesAbility to work independently and take initiative Tasks & responsibilities Verifying and processing invoices from suppliers and non-suppliers within appropriate time framesCheck all documentation for correct authorisation and accuracyEnsure all promotional and contract pricing compliance where applicableResolve all supplier account enquiriesPrepare daily invoice reconciliation processGenerate credit claims in response to invoice discrepancies and overchargesResolving invoice errors, purchase orders or discrepancies with suppliers and vendorsPreparing payments through the A/P system by use of payment cards or electronic transfersOther administration duties as requiredBe willing to assist in other departments if required
