Accounts Payable Officer

Attractive salary  Work for a leading mining organisation  3 month max term contract Brisbane City Location  The situation:  Stellar is currently looking for experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our mining client in Brisbane City.
Our Client would like to start someone on an 3 month max term contract to cover an employees leave.
Duties:  Process all invoices and ensure they follow the correct workflow into the accounting system Maintain a logged invoice report for all outstanding invoices  Investigate outstanding invoices and liaise with the business to resolve discrepancies that may be holding up invoice payment Ensure timely payments to suppliers to maintain strong supplier relationships Liaise with suppliers regarding outstanding accounts and conduct monthly supplier reconciliations  Comply with all policies, standards and procedures Provide support to the wider finance team  About You: Experience in full function accounts payable ( 2-3 years )  SAP or Pulse system experience highly regarded  High attention to detail and proven experience in high volume environments  Next Steps:  Lets discuss!
