Accounts Payable Officer - 12 Month Ftc

We are recruiting for a prestigious luxury goods/retail business based in Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team on a 12-month contract with the potential to go permanent.Key Responsibilities:Vendor Invoice Management: Accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor account reconciliations, and avoiding duplicate payments.Vendor Master Data: Ensure data accuracy in SAP and timely validation of vendor workflow requests.Expense Management: Validate CONCUR expense claims in line with T&E policy and process boutique petty cash reports.Intercompany: Process intercompany invoices, resolve system errors, and prepare netting payments.Reporting & Closing: Prepare monthly reports, manage accruals, and perform intercompany reconciliations.User Support: Provide support and training on PO/VIM/Vendor workflow/CONCUR for staff and new joiners.Qualifications & Experience:Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification.2+ years of relevant experience, ideally from an MNC or large accounting firm.Strong accounting knowledge and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create automation templates.Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.Dynamic, innovative, and meticulous with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.Why Join?Be part of a dynamic, global luxury brand.Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Opportunity for career growth within the business.If you have a passion for luxury goods and thrive in a high-volume environment, we'd love to hear from you.
