They are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to join their large corporate services team and deliver a seamless, consistent and customer-centric Accounts Payable service.
The Role: This position is crucial for optimising AP operations, ensuring compliance, and enhancing service management.
Key responsibilities include: Overseeing daily activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Monitoring AP functions to identify trends and issues and implementing corrective actions or recommending improvements.
Managing vendor creation and maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and monitoring cash flow.
Implementing best practices for KPI reporting, tracking performance, and driving continuous improvement.
Collaborating with AP specialists, supervisors, finance, and banking teams to drive efficiency.
Leading and developing a high-performing team to align with business strategy and enhance capability.
Aligning AP functions and processes with broader BFS strategy and deliverables.
About You: The ideal candidate will have: Experience as a Finance, Transactional, or Shared Services Manager, leading large teams in a multi-entity environment.
Proven track record in change management and driving process improvements in AP and end-to-end P2 P processes, including reporting.
In-depth knowledge of ERP and S2 P systems; experience with Kofax, SAP, or D365 is desirable.
Strong ability to support and develop high-performing teams with excellent communication and people management skills.
Attention to detail, high-level organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach.
