We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our expanding Finance team. This is a newly created role.
The Accounts Clerk will be an integral part of the team, providing day-to-day support across all aspects and areas of the Finance team, while also collaborating with various departments, vendors, and stakeholders to meet Scenic World's needs.
Key Duties Include: Accounts data entry (bookkeeping) into Netsuite and ExcelSupporting the Finance team in their day-to-day tasks, including providing coverage when a team member is on annual leave or sick leaveLiaising with debtors (including tour companies) and creditors in relation to payables and receivablesCounting, entering, and reconciling takings, collating, and checking credit card payment slipsCommunicating with internal stakeholders across the business regarding any cash/account errorsExpediting urgent payments through the systemGeneral filing and housekeepingTo be successful in this role, you will possess and demonstrate: Experience in a similar finance and/or accountancy environmentRelevant training or qualifications in an accountancy-related disciplineExperience or proven ability to use computerized accounting programs effectively and constructivelyExperience using Netsuite is advantageousDemonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a teamDemonstrated experience in dealing with sensitive information, with the ability to remain confidential at all timesAdvanced skills across the Microsoft suiteAbility to adapt and acquire skills quicklyPrevious experience within the Tourism industry would also be advantageousWe'd love to hear from people who have proven experience within a Finance/Accounting role, who are excited about working within a fun, dynamic, and professional Finance team within our beautiful Blue Mountains.
