The Opportunity We are now seeking a part time Accounts Administrator to support Zafra Legal's finance team. The role is a 0.6 FTE role, with flexibility offered on days and hours worked.
The Role This part time, permanent role is a Perth CBD, office-based opportunity requiring the performance of the following functions:
Leading the preparation, distribution and administration of the the firm's invoicing of professional services fees and disbursements.Accounts receivable administration.Periodic debtor and WIP management.Communication with clients in relation to invoicing and client record management.Administering application of trust monies maintained for professional services fees.Administering periodic services accounts (statutory searches, registry fees) for disbursement and expense recovery.Employee Assistance Program management.Supporting the firm's Finance Administrator and principals with data analysis, report preparation and occasional assistance with financial administration functions.Overflow support for front of house duties on occasion.The role does not extend to accounts payable administration or supplier account management.
About You You will have at least 3 years prior experience in a similar role in a professional services industry, having worked closely with professional services fee earners and accounts teams.
Other key attributes of the successful candidate will include:
Demonstrated experience with practice management accounting software (preferably for legal services provision).Knowledge of statutory requirements for trust account administration of monies held on trust for legal services fees (preferably in an Australian jurisdiction).Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team.
