As we continue to grow and evolve, AUS is currently seeking an ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - ACCOUNTANT at our Osborne Park Corporate office.
AUS is looking for a passionate, adaptable finance professional to report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and collaborate closely with our diverse and dynamic finance team. Due to ever-increasing momentum and a valued team member preparing for maternity leave in the new year, we've fast-tracked recruitment for this pivotal role.
Initially, your focus will be on managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as preparing and presenting monthly management accounts to provide crucial support during this transition. As you grow, the role will shift to management reporting, external reporting, financial analysis, appraisals, and budget support.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.Work with managers and other staff to analyze financial and operational data, delivering insights and recommendations.Collaborate with other team members during periods of absence to cover accounts receivable, payables, payroll, and any external reporting requirements such as BAS returns.Ideal Candidate:
Graduate with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Several years post-graduation experience.Keen to obtain a professional accounting qualification, such as CA or CPA.Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex information.Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.Demonstrate self-management, time management, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Proficiency in financial software, preferably MYOB AccountsRight.Advanced Microsoft Excel.Experience in Accounts Receivable, Payable, and/or Payroll.What we Offer:
