Accounting Admin

About the business Go Solar Group is a leading wholesale, installation and engineering company in Australia. Over the years, we have established strong partnership with the key manufacturers in the market, which enables us to provide our clients the best products at the most competitive price. As our business expands, we are looking to bring on and develop top talent. Consequently, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Admin to join our team.
This role is full-time permanent and suits applicants who are organised, can multi-task, and work under pressure in a very busy office environment. Preferably the applicants will have accounting experience. University graduates are also welcome to apply.
Job tasks and responsibilities  1. Accounts receivable - set up customer accounts in our system
- issue invoices for customers
- track customer accounts and chase for outstanding accounts
2. Accounts payable - order materials for every installation job
- check and record installation labour costs
- track accounts with suppliers and deal with payables
3. Payroll (Xero) - record leave requests
- handle expense claims
- calculate commission for our sales team fortnightly
- process pay run fortnightly 
4. Stock control  - monitor purchase orders and bills for stock in
- monitor sales invoices for stock out
- integrate bills and invoices to ensure inventory is correct
5. Daily bookkeeping - record every transaction into correct ledgers
- reconcile all bank accounts daily
6. Government rebate application - fill out online forms
- reconcile application results
7. Weekly work reports  Skills and experience - Has 1 years or more bookkeeping experience (preferable)
- Has good communication skills
- Has good computer skills
