Job Type: Full time Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Company produces 110koz of gold annually from two operations – the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA & the Henty Gold Mine in Australia. It also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo. The Company plans to bring four new mining areas at Plutonic into production over the next 12 to 18 months, growing Group production to 200koz of gold. Job Title: Accountant Working at our head office in Perth , this position is responsible for supporting the business' current and future growth while working closely with other team members and under the direct supervision of an experienced Finance Manager. Key responsibilities of the role include: Assist with month-end processes and the publication of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts compliant with accounting standards. Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. Reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts. Maintain the integrity of financial records. Assist in the preparation of tax and other statutory returns. Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports. Working with the Accounts Payable to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoice information. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Support the year-end process, to ensure a smooth and timely completion. Provide financial advice and guidance to non-financial managers, helping them understand the financial impact of their decisions. About you: Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, or other related discipline from a reputable university. 2+ years accounting experience either in a public practice or commercial environment. Experience working in a mining environment or for mining clients.
