This position is responsible for comprehensive financial management tasks such as end-of-month processing, taxation obligations, income recognition, cash flow management and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities include providing accurate financial information to stakeholders, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and assisting in financial reporting and audits.
Tasks & responsibilities:Handle invoicing and accounts receivable/payable processes.Maintaining accurate financial recordsManaging the general ledger, accounts payable and payroll functionsManaging the month-end accounting process and preparation of monthly financial accountsAssisting with the preparation of the monthly Group management reportingManaging statutory returns and compliance, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returnsManaging the statutory audit process, including co-ordination and liaison with external auditorsCash flow reporting to managementAddressing and resolving financial queriesAssist the GM with budgeting and forecasting requirementsA focus on increasing business performance and efficiencyThis hands-on role is likely to appeal to a high calibre finance professional who is seeking a challenging environment and commercial contribution.

Qualifications & experience:Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant qualificationMinimum 5 years' proven experience in a senior finance or accounting roleHighly developed knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team and use initiativeHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and meet deadlinesHigh level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essentialPrior experience and proficiency with Sage and/or Insphire ERP's desirableBenefits:Salary $100,000 to $110,000 + Superannuation depending on experienceCorporate office parking providedSupportive team environment and further training opportunities providedIf you have the experience we are seeking, please apply now through our online application form.
