Accountant

Our client is looking for a motivated Accountant to join their multinational pharmaceutical company based in Macquarie Park.
Responsibilities: Conducting financial reporting and trend analysisExternal Reporting and Data analysisReconciling the GL and key systemsAutomating and simplifying tasks and functionsBudgeting, forecasting, and analysing divisional expenses and working capitalProviding general business, accounting and internal control support for key business partnersCredit and overdue / delinquent debt managementTax compliance activities including GST, FBT, Withholding Tax, Income tax etc.Quarterly Income tax calculations and reportingEnhancing governance and controls within accounting and tax functionsCollaborating with colleagues to support and enable the organisation to meet goals and objectivesOther activities or adhoc projectsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred or working towards.Proven experience in tax compliance, business forecasting, and general accounting functionsIntermediate proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBi and automation toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong can-do attitude and motivation to work in high-performing and collaborative environmentAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.

Salary: AUD100,000 - AUD120,000 per annum + bonus
Salary: AUD115,000 - AUD125,000 per annum + super + 15% bonus
