In this role you'll be responsible for: Assisting with the preparation of monthly, half-year and year-end management accounts and statutory accounts Proactively looking for new and better ways of working to ensure efficiency Working collaboratively with the broader Finance team and internal stakeholders to achieve business outcomes Preparation of banking and general ledger reconciliations Preparing monthly BAS returns Examining financial records to ensure accuracy Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data Managing Accounts Receivable, including working with certain customers on outstanding balances To be successful in this role, you should be: University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business or similar) Either completing or have completed your CA/CPA qualification Demonstrated experience working within Finance / Accounting, preferably in a Retail / eCommerce / FMCG environment. Experience within an ASX listed business will be highly regarded Experience with SAP will be highly regarded Comfortable building and maintaining effective relationships, through exceptional communication and engagement An exceptional problem solver, using your strong attention to detail to maintain data entry and reconciliation accuracy Comfortable working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Being agile and adaptable is key to success! A whiz with Microsoft Excel (we're talking VLOOKUP and pivot tables, not SUM and AVERAGE - and we will test your capability).
