Job DescriptionAs Accountant, you willbe responsible for several key functions within our wider controllership team. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to analyse financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls. In addition to this, you'll support to deliver timely month-end closes and oversee audit processes and ensure accurate reporting on our financial statements.
QualificationsSkills & Experience: Working towards CPA/CA, or a minimum of Diploma in business and accountingMinimum 2 years experience at a Large Corporate or major Accounting FirmUnderstanding and experience with Corporate Banking arrangementsAbility to influence and build relationships across a wide range of organisationsStrong technical accounting experience and high attention to detailProven ability to use initiative and drive to achieve resultsAdditional InformationThis role is based in Australia Responsibilities:
Ensure the preparation of cash flow reporting according to Group requirements.Act as a key contributor to statutory reporting and external audit processProvide support on internal control execution, testing and various tax preparation as requiredSupport, coordinate and lead the successful delivery of key finance projects that will deliver instrumental efficiency gainsMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliationsSupport the Brand Finance Business Partners with month end journals, financial analysis and ad hoc projects as requiredAssist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
