Permanent Sydney I Hybrid Working Traded Market Risk/ XVA focus How will I help?This role will see you interface with a range of stakeholders to provide oversight and analysis of traded market risk activity in the Financial Markets business. You will also provide consultancy on market risk-related issues and engage with the business to improve market risk management capability. What do I need?You will participate in the development of risk measuring and monitoring techniques and tools.Monitor and analyse traded market risk activities and performance including oversight of limit management within delegated authorities.Engage with the business to improve risk management capabilities, facilitating the introduction of new products and contributing on relevant market risk-related matters.Where appropriate input into the development of Market Risk's new market risk engineContributes to intraday and end-of-day profit and loss and risk estimates reporting.Provide timely response to ad hoc investigations, analysis, and delegated tasks.What is it like to work there?We aim to provide one big, supportive team to help us achieve our purpose of creating better futures together. How do I apply?You will have 2+ years' experience in market risk management including practical experience dealing with operational process and procedure in financial markets environment. Also pivotal to the role, will be your experience with automated/algorithmic trading systems and quantitative modelling experience. Experience with SQL, Coding, Python and or Murex systems will be highly regarded. You will be someone who enjoys interfacing with stakeholders to provide market risk support, with the ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and negotiating skills.Start here.
