Accountant

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to support our operations by managing all accounting transactions and financial reporting.
As an Accountant at APHC, you will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Support senior management in designing internal policies and procedures to support accounting and budgetary functions. Prepare and present financial statements in time. Carry out financial reviews and audits, identify risks, and prepare comprehensive reports and financial strategies. Monitor and analyse income, expenses, and costs providing advice to support budgeting and operational efficiency. Check and rectify inaccuracies in financial reports to ensure compliance with all Australian financial requirements and regulations. Prepare budget forecasts and provide financial advice. Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax returns. Manage all accounting transactions and liaise with external accountants. Set up and maintain accounting systems for accurate and efficient financial tracking and reporting. Implement and monitor internal policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and integrity of accounting systems. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant with general ledger functions. Strong attention to detail. Excellent analytical and organisational skills. Proficiency in accounting software. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
