This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our finance department while enjoying a competitive salary package ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Assist with tax compliance and liaise with external auditors as required. Conduct financial risk assessments and suggest improvement strategies to optimize processes. Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management to support decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) preferred but not essential. 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Why Join Ovvio Pty Ltd?
