Finance Officer

Contract: Two Year Contract
Location: Perth CBD
Hours: 38 hours per week

About the Role: As the Finance Officer, you will provide specialist administration and investigation into financial transactions while delivering excellent service to stakeholders. This role spans Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Responsibilities:

Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement.
Maintain and update working procedures.
Reconcile daily cash flows and control accounts.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
Manage debt collection processes.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounts functions.
Apply accounts-specific policies and procedures.
Support team leader with technical assistance, mentoring, and training.
Process customer invoices and support revenue collection.
Investigate system issues and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in AP and AR.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Previous experience with electronic accounting systems.
Effective communication and negotiation skills for debt collections.
Strong problem-solving ability and accuracy under pressure.
Available to start immediately.
Full working rights within Australia for a minimum of 2 years and able to work full-time.
