What's the Role: Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Mining Mobile Plant Bowen Basin you will manage the profitability and growth of customer accounts within the sales region and develop and maintain key customer relationships in line with the business plan.
You will undertake regular interactions with customers to develop new opportunities and verify the attainment of customer satisfaction.
You will develop a Customer Engagement Plan for each client within your region via Salesforce.
You will ensure all site visits are captured with Salesforce, including contacts and opportunities.
You will be result-driven and achieve budgeted sales targets for the accounts under your management.
Regularly assess the current market position from report data and report as required on performance to budget and other relevant benchmark objectives.
You will have great attention to detail in submitting monthly reports on time, will assess market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products and collect/provide feedback/data, and continue to identify opportunities to improve and grow the business both organically and through adjacent products.
You collaborate and work closely with the Sales Support Co-ordinators to manage priorities to best meet customer requirements.
You will advise the Regional Sales Manager of anticipated changes in customer needs, competitor activities, or market direction and assist in defining the future needs of these markets.
Play an active role in developing market opportunities through prospecting new customers.
Key Technical Criteria: Technical trade is desirable with additional emphasis on Key account management and marketing.
Professional experience in Customer Management or Sales is desirable.
Sales ability incorporating marketing techniques, implementing strategic initiatives, operating plans, and budgets will be preferred This role is based in Mackay.
