The Whiteheads Timber Sales group operates a mid-sized saw mill supplying into wholesale markets, primarily in SA and Victoria.
Over the years, Whiteheads has developed a strong presence in the local timber industry, built around a reputation for providing dependable, consistent quality products and effective customer service.
We are now seeking an experienced Account Manager who can facilitate B2B sales across industrial, agricultural, construction, and general timber markets.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, fostering loyalty and trust.Monitor customer accounts, identifying and addressing potential risks proactively.Take the initiative to identify opportunities and implement effective solutions.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.Ensure customers fully understand and can make the most of the company's products and services.Oversee pricing policies and contribute to strategic initiatives.Identify and pursue new sales opportunities aligned with the company's strategic goals.Facilitate the sale of the company's timber products, ensuring an optimal balance between price, volume, and service.Key Requirements: Experience in B2B sales.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong commercial understanding, including financial processes.Background in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.Competent with computers and software.The applicant will be based at our Mount Gambier Saw Mill site, with relocation support to be negotiated if necessary.
