The role We are currently seeking a career focused, positive individual with a passion for providing exceptional service to customers within Adelaide and surrounds.
Critical to your success will be a sound understanding of the Retail and Commercial segments in each of these regions with a general understanding of the building industry.
You will be responsible for prospecting new customers to realize growth opportunities as well as servicing an established customer base.
The role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of the Adbri Masonry team, a leading National supplier in the Australian building products market.
The successful applicant would be based at our Ottoway or Pooraka Sites with some regional travel as and when required to customers.
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary package, and a fully maintained company vehicle.
Responsibilities Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained. Develop strategic sales initiatives to ensure sales volume growth. Ensure that relevant prospecting metrics are achieved, and activity is recorded within Salesforce. Prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports. Analyse sales and profitability of new and existing markets and segments. Maintain and grow relationships with customers across multiple channels. What you will need to succeed A commitment to adhering to all Safety protocols. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Exceptional communication and people skills. Ability to negotiate effectively and rationalise a sound value proposition. An enthusiastic, proactive, and diligent approach to meeting customers' needs. Ability to develop technical expertise quickly and effectively within our product range. Masonry Block and Paver knowledge an advantage. Computer skills with SAP knowledge an advantage. Experience with CRM systems an advantage.
