Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at JML Plumbing & Gas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing general accounts, overseeing payroll operations, and ensuring accurate reconciliation through various accounting software packages. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail- oriented professional to contribute to the financial success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.Process payroll accurately and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.Conduct regular reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.Prepare financial reports, statements, and analyses as required by management.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries andmaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on general ledger management, payroll processing, and reconciliation.Proficiency in accounting software platforms, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolvingissues.Team player with a collaborative attitude and a commitment tosupporting colleagues.Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling confidentialfinancial information.Salary: $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience
