The Holcim Australia Aggregates business operates over 70 quarry sites producing hard rock, sand and gravel materials essential for the construction industry.
With the largest state footprint in the industry, we are excited about the future for the Western Australian business and are looking for a great team member to join us on the journey.
About the opportunity: In this key Perth-based role, you will be responsible for Aggregates sales across Northwest WA in a true end-to-end account management role.
The role will involve frequent travel to the NW (primarily Port Hedland, Newman and Karratha) and you will deliver agreed sales targets and business goals through maintaining a structured contact plan that is continually tailored to establish and improve relationships with new and existing customers.
You will also track project opportunities and develop and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives and market trends.
It is an autonomous role, offering you the chance to truly manage your own customer accounts within a supportive management setting.

Duties and responsibilities: Develop and maintain a structured customer contact plan within the territory in line with targets.
Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty and maximize the likelihood of winning future business.
Identify and thoroughly follow up all new business, product and/or project opportunities within the territory.
Resolve customer issues, disputes and/or complaints, both onsite and offsite, in a prompt and professional manner.
Enrol relevant internal staff and ensure accountabilities are clearly defined to resolve the issue satisfactorily.
Ensure all customers are trading within their allocated credit limits and continually identify and assist in managing risk.
Proactively promote the full product and service range within the territory to maximize up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
Identify appropriate new business opportunities and/or projects within the allocated territory and generate, qualify and convert new leads and/or projects in line with allocated budget targets.
Ensure all tenders and quotes for projects are carried out in accordance with the approved processes.
Work collaboratively across business functions (Operations, Technical and Logistics) to maximize business performance.
About You: Experience in B2 B sales/account management ideally gained within the construction materials or related sectors (preferred).
Relevant tertiary qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
A demonstrated ability to generate new business whilst maintaining existing customer relationships.
Highly motivated and self-confident in your dealings with clients, sales staff and team members.
Some logistics/inventory management experience ideal.
Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate openly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work autonomously and with high-level time management skills.
A strong team player.
The ability to put together solutions that add value for your customers.
A high proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP and other systems required to do the role effectively is required (i.e.
Sales Force and tender portals).
Please note: You must have the ability to travel to Regional WA on a regular basis.
