Business Development Manager (Managed IT Services)

Summary The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a senior sales role focused on expanding our managed IT services in the Toronto area. This role requires generating new business, managing key client relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales funnel. The BDM will be responsible for driving growth in managed IT services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, network support, and IT consulting.
Key Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities using proactive outreach, referrals, and networking. Present proposals and close deals with a consultative approach, ensuring alignment with client business objectives. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales performance. Develop long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted IT advisor. Meet and exceed sales targets through disciplined sales planning and execution. Who You Are A proven sales professional with five years of B2B experience, preferably in the professional services, IT services, software, or MSP industry. Skilled at understanding client needs and translating them into practical, scalable IT solutions. Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers and IT leaders. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and service teams. Passionate about technology and continually improving your knowledge of the IT landscape. A driven, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Strong track record in closing complex services deals and achieving sales quotas. Knowledge of IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
