Position Overview:
As an Account Manager in the Industrial Chemicals sector, you will manage and expand a portfolio of key clients, focusing on driving sales and building lasting relationships.
Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their industrial chemical needs are consistently met.Business Development: Identify new business opportunities to grow market share and expand the client base within the industrial chemicals sector.Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets through the effective promotion and sale of chemical products and solutions.Client Support: Offer outstanding customer support, including technical advice, product guidance, and troubleshooting to meet client requirements.Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure profitable agreements with customers.Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, and market changes to uncover growth opportunities.Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, tracking account performance and identifying challenges and opportunities.Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in account management or sales within the industrial chemicals, manufacturing, or a similar technical industry.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial chemicals and their applications across various industries.
