As a distribution partner, the relationship with our principals is the key to our success.Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager - Beauty and Personal Care, our new Account Manager will manage an assigned group of customers to achieve & exceed a designated sales Gross Profit Target as well as increase and develop business with existing and new customers.Responsibilities include:Assist in the preparation of tenders.Service and develop potential customers to achieve & exceed a designated sales Gross Profit Target.Increase business with existing customers through new projects and new products.Assist with budget and business plan preparations, inventory holdings, and movements.Initiate and develop customer account strategies, based on existing and future customer requirements including new market strategies.About you:Qualification: Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field, or extensive experience in the industry.Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is essential, with medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems. Familiarity with JD Edwards would put you a step above the rest, but is not required.Well-developed communication skills: You will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within and outside IMCD.A can-do attitude: Our values are central to all that we do.
