Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mid-Market Account Executive who is early in a career and a "shooting star" to be our first AE to join our Sydney team, focusing on the Australia and New Zealand markets. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence within the mid-market segment, engaging with companies to promote and sell DevRev's innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:Prospecting and Lead Generation:Identify and engage potential mid-market clients within the ANZ region.Cold calling in collaboration with your team SDR.Utilise various channels, including networking events, industry research, and digital platforms, to build a robust sales pipeline.Sales Process Management:Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.Work with pre-sales to conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.Negotiate contract terms and ensure mutual satisfaction.Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client inquiries and providing ongoing support.Market Analysis and Strategy:Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the ANZ region.Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market demands.Performance Reporting:Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in DevRev's own CRM system - called Grow!Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Highly intelligent, coachable, adaptable, resilient, hungry, ambitious, owner mindset with a strong potential for future promotion and leadership … a shooting star!Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong understanding of the mid-market landscape in Australia and New Zealand.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Willingness to travel within the ANZ region as required.
