We are looking for a passionate, and motivated Account Executive ready to expand their sales career in the vibrant and booming Construction Technology space. You will represent the Autodesk Construction Solutions business in an assigned territory demonstrating your capabilities to influence, coach and guide customers in technology transformation while closing deals. With a regional approach to selling into the construction industry, we are looking for someone to be the go-to resource and expert in their territory as we build net-new business and expand our existing account base.
Role You will be responsible for an assigned sales quota within a defined industry and geographic territory. You will lead the selling process in collaboration with channel partners, engaging appropriate resources from Autodesk, looking for new business and closing enterprise deals while implementing world-class business practices. You will report to the Senior Sales Manager ACS Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and work with a highly engaged professional team.
Responsibilities Achieve/exceed sales budgets Provide regular forecasts for assigned industry and territory and/or resellers using CRM tools as required by Sales Management Target important accounts and prospects within a defined sales territory by industry, geography, or product group. Key accounts are defined by the manager and agreed upon between the manager and the sales executive Develop/implement a business plan that maximises opportunities to exceed sales budgets and important goals within defined industry and geographic territories Provide leadership, training, and serve as an ongoing resource to improve local resellers' skills while building a robust sales pipeline and book of business Establish long-term customer relationships, liaising across all levels of management within the account Leverage Autodesk sales processes and methodologies Coordinate and engage other teams with representatives from pre-sales, and/or other internal organisations such as consulting and customer success Develop Industry sector knowledge Support all Autodesk strategic plans and marketing campaigns. Drive all potential opportunities where resellers lack or require a higher level of capability Minimum Qualifications You have 7+ years of experience in SaaS sales You have experience exceeding sales quotas year on year Engaged team-player with a collaborative spirit and hunger to learn Customer-focused, outcome-based approach to success Previous SaaS sales experience in the construction industry desirable You will work in a Hybrid environment – mix of home and office as required Open to regular travel both domestically and from time to time internationally Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package.
