Access to top tier clients and complex business challengesContinuous development through our mixed learning approachAll the tools, equipment and mentors you need to be successful in your roleOur organisation encourages diversity, supports charities and environmental initiativesWe have a bright, open plan and dog friendly office (we love our furry friends)We encourage and fully support flexible workingParental leaveDetails regarding the role Lead the team in the use of the OMD planning process to create the media idea and implementationPlay a key role in strategic development workshops (client and Media Owner)Ensure in-depth assessment of all communication options, using media research tools, delivers innovative insightsCollaborate with and share information with all stakeholders, including external agency partnersEnsure the reporting of competitive, consumer and market data delivers innovative and actionable insights to form the basis of future recommendationsPresent detailed communications plans to clients (strategy, implementation planning, execution, sponsorship consideration (corporate, broadcast & data partnerships) and budget managementMonitor and report on agency contract KPIsUnderstand and drive the commercial arrangements with all your clientsPromote additional OMD's services to clients when appropriate - understand capability, be able to pressure test relevance and know how to convert an opportunityEnsure account queries are rare and that any are resolved quickly and with supporting documentationEffective management and leadership of any direct reportsDeliver best in class client service that builds businessAbout your skills and experience Is ambitious, a team player, and who thrives in a high-performance environmentSeeks broad experience and continued learning across all facets of media planning (traditional, digital, tech, analytics, strategy, comms planning, sponsorship)An experienced channel & imp planning expert (Application of strategy to execution); online and offlineHas strong budget and financial managementHas a desire and motivation to get under the hood of their client partners brands, macro business and marketing (Business performance, brand health, creative & media effectiveness)Experience using discovered insights to recommend communication initiativesImpeccable attention to detail and ability to delivery work on timeA passion for understanding and delivering on client business goalsThe ability to build strong client relationships and trust quicklyExperience in managing direct reports, with a focus on their development.A proactive thinker who is always exploring new ways of doing things whilst respecting proven processesDemonstrated experience leading a team at Account Director levelA bit about us… We are a proud part of the OMD global network, the world's leading marketing and communications agency.
