About The Opportunity
This newly created position combines your previous experience in Account Management with your natural ability to network and create opportunities within the Design industry. Opportunities are rich in this position as you are provided the chance to build a book of business north of the bridge whilst also tapping into, and engaging with, an existing database of exceptional clients that are keen to partner with Armadillo on their next project.

Enhance sales through exceptional customer service – position Armadillo as the industry's preferred rug brand by strategically managing relationships with existing customers.
Responsible for maintaining existing relationships and fostering the development of new leads.
Drive sales by cultivating new customer relationships, and identify and leverage business development opportunities with a personalised approach.
Deliver brand and product presentations, and manage customer inquiries to enhance sales and service quality.
Research and engage with new customer leads, fostering solid connections and relationships.
Complete face-to-face meetings across key locations to build brand awareness, foster new relationships, educate clients on products and create new business opportunities.
Stay informed about industry news, business information and changes, product details, competitor analysis, and related micro and macro impacts.
Manage customer enquiries, both in the showroom and externally.
Generate quotes, process orders, and ensure timely follow-ups to maintain customer satisfaction.
Monitor orders and invoices and manage payment follow-ups to ensure smooth transaction processes.
Report on sales and engagement performance against KPIs to track and drive success.

About You
You are a natural networker and are an agile, pro-active and personable colleague that is motivated by reaching and achieving targets, building quality relationships and helping a business grow and succeed in the market. Ideally you live on the North Shore or Northern Beaches so that you can actively develop relationships, visit clients and build the Armadillo brand in your local areas. You will be working from the Surry Hills showroom approximately 3 days per week and will be out doing business development activities 2 days per week.

Proven experience in an Account Management position where sales growth and business development activities were required, preferably within the home decor or textiles industry.
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
A willingness and openness to help other colleagues and provide proactive support across departments.
Excellent research and customer profiling abilities to identify and cultivate new business leads.
Proficiency in generating quotes, processing orders and managing databases.
Ability to monitor and report on sales performance, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
