Selected candidate will become a regular, full-time employee of Raheem Enterprises Pty Ltd located near Sydney.
The candidate will be required to take over day-to-day management of the Guest House, ensuring it is performing as per requirements while advising improvements to the rooms, services, facilities and efficiency of the staff.
The candidate will also train current and new staff, incorporate latest technology and business principles, and assist in the future possibility of expansion of the Guest House.
Summary Of The Employment And Expectations Selected candidate will be employed directly by Raheem Enterprises Pty Ltd. Candidate may live and work in any region of NSW but should be within an hour's drive from the Guest House.
Be willing to come within 2 hours notice of any major issue in the Guest House.
Directly coordinate with staff, banks, subcontractors and vendors.
Will be evaluated based on ratings on hotel booking sites, guest comments, booking percentage, number of incidents and trainings provided.
Selected candidate will not be given any training except 1 month of onboarding guidance.
Candidate must be able to self-manage all matters.
Applicants Will Be Given Preference In The Following Order
Preference will be given foremost to demonstrated skills in managing customers, human resources, hospitality centres, and being able to solve problems without loss of quality of service.
For candidates with similar skills, the following preference will be followed:
Australians PR holders Applicants having full work rights with sufficient remaining time on their visas International applicants Additional Requirements Excellent English and communication skills.
May be requested to work on weekends.
Be available should any major issue arise.
Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
Experience in recruiting and training staff.
Ability to resolve issues and handle customer complaints effectively.
Experience in the latest trends and technology in Hospitality.
Ability to advise in case of any opportunity of alliance or joint projects.
Working Hours Employee is expected to be on call during working hours.
Working hours are from 8am to 5pm.
Standard breaks are available during working hours.
Generally, workdays are 5 days a week.
Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and skills Minimum starting annual salary of AUD $74,000 + Superannuation Extra hours will be calculated as per overtime In case of work on holiday, salary will be calculated as per overtime.
Task & Responsibilities Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities.
Supervising security arrangements, garden, recreation space, parking space, surrounding area and overall property maintenance.
Directly selecting, training, supervising and scheduling all staff.
Incorporating a comprehensive training program to ensure locals will be part of the team.
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Reviewing guest satisfaction and comments, providing feedback and making necessary changes to ensure better reviews and experience.
Overseeing accounting, bookkeeping, bank dealings and payroll.
Overseeing all vendors, subcontractors, purchases and services.
Monitoring expenses, creating budgets and cutting loss-making entries to improve revenue and profitability.
Incorporating latest technology to ensure guest experience is easy, seamless and automated.
Creating digital and always-available reception supported by remote staff and on-hand workforce.
Planning and guiding on the planned future expansion of the Guest House.
Improving amenities, facilities and services that will increase guest satisfaction and ratings.
Providing guests with extra information such as local tourism information or how to arrange transport or services.
Making deals with car companies, auto workshops, tour guides and various service providers to ensure guests booking rooms get great deals and offers to improve perceived benefit of the stay.
Addressing complaints and negative feedback from customers, finding the cause of concerns and where applicable providing a quick service recovery.
Be prepared to deal with difficult customers in lieu of all legalities.
Coordinating with other hotels, restaurants, spa centres, and recreational centres to create a joint program system allowing guests to have comprehensive facilities at hand.
Qualification & Experience Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of hospitality industry trends.
Proven work experience as a Guest House Manager, Hotel Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
2+ years experience in hospitality and accommodation industry with minimum 1 year experience in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of hotel management software and online booking systems.
Experience in creating alliances and coordinating with different hotel chains.
Excellent training skills.
A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
